CHILDREN IN THE GATHERING
We love children! And we believe that they’re served well by being present in our church’s gathering. To this end, our children’s ministry aims to prepare both children and parents for their full participation.
Children of all ages are gladly welcome in our gathering if you’d prefer to keep them with you. Having children among us is a blessing! As our children grow, we want hearing the Word preached in the gathering of the saints to be an essential part of their discipleship.
CHILDREN IN THE CLASSROOM
But if you’d be better served by entrusting young children with our children’s ministry, we offer different, age-specific classes:
- For infants and toddlers through 3 years old, we offer care during our entire gathering.
- Preschool children ages 4-5 are present in our gathering for singing and praying, then dismissed to their own class during the sermon.
Following the sermon, parents are dismissed to bring their children from their classes into our corporate gathering so our volunteers can participate in the Lord’s Supper and receive a Scriptural benediction with the rest of our members.
On Sunday mornings, we use Great Commission Publications (GCP) curriculum. Learn more about GCP by CLICKING HERE. On Tuesday nights at Kids Quest, we memorize one question a week from The Catechism For Boys And Girls. You can purchase a copy of the catechism by CLICKING HERE.
