Jeff Wiesner - Senior Pastor & Elder
Pastor Jeff Wiesner serves as the Senior Pastor for CBC. He and his wife, Kathy, met while serving together in a ministry to the University of North Texas campus. They have four children: Nicolas, Julia, Charis, and Elyana. Pastor Jeff holds two theological degrees from The Criswell College (BA, MA) and received additional training as a Pastoral Intern at Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington D.C. His primary duty as a shepherd is the regular teaching and preaching of God’s Word. His favorite things include watching his kids play music and sports, reading old books on theology, drinking black coffee, and obsessing over the game of baseball.
Ryan Adams - Elder
Ryan Adams was born and raised in Denton. He met his lovely wife Laura while they were both serving over seas and they have now been married for just over 10 years. They have 4 kids. They love spending time with other couples from CBC plus doing one on one discipleship. The Lord has been kind to sanctify and mature them in their 8 plus years at CBC. In his free time, he enjoys time with his family, reading, and being in the outdoors.
Adam Sandlin - Elder
Adam Sandlin serves as an elder here at CBC. He and his wife Alli are long time members and they have two children, Lydia and Judah. Adam practices as a biblical, clinical, and professional Christian counselor here in Denton County. He is involved with certification and conference speaking through the Association of Biblical Counselors (ABC). Adam loves preaching, teaching, and shepherding at CBC, and also enjoys playing music, hunting, writing, and time with his family.
Mark Henley - Elder
Mark Henley began serving as an elder at CBC in June 2019. He is married to Christine, and they have a son named Patrick. Mark studied history at Texas A&M and library science at the University of North Texas. He has worked as a librarian and a proof reader, and is currently working for a plumbing supply company. He enjoys reading theology, history, and historical theology. Mark, Christine, and Patrick love their dogs Woodrow and Oona and building LEGOs together as a family.
