Jeff Wiesner - Senior Pastor & Elder
Pastor Jeff Wiesner serves as the Senior Pastor for CBC. He and his wife, Kathy, met while serving together in a ministry to the University of North Texas campus. They have four children: Nicolas, Julia, Charis, and Elyana. Pastor Jeff holds two theological degrees from The Criswell College (BA, MA) and received additional training as a Pastoral Intern at Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington D.C. His primary duty as a shepherd is the regular teaching and preaching of God’s Word. His favorite things include watching his kids play music and sports, reading old books on theology, drinking black coffee, and obsessing over the game of baseball.
Adam Sandlin - Elder
Adam Sandlin serves as an elder here at CBC. He and his wife Alli are long time members and they have three children: Lydia, Judah, and Shepherd. Adam practices as a biblical, clinical, and professional Christian counselor here in Denton County. He is involved with certification and conference speaking through the Association of Biblical Counselors (ABC). Adam loves preaching, teaching, and shepherding at CBC, and also enjoys playing music, hunting, writing, and time with his family.
Jono Brooks - Elder
Dennis Erwin - Elder
Dennis Erwin serves as an elder at CBC. He and his wife, Stephanie, have two children, Beckett and Johanna. Dennis graduated from the University of North Texas with a BA in Philosophy and currently works as a software developer. He hates any kind of craft or any job that requires working with one's hands with a modicum of skill, though he greatly admires those who can do it, and he often finds himself financially compelled to give it a try. He enjoys telling people he's going to run a marathon and then finding ways to get out of it.

Alli Sandlin - Children's Ministry Assistant
Alli Sandlin serves as the Children’s Ministry Assistant for CBC. She and her husband, Adam, have three children: Lydia, Judah, and Shepherd. Alli graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies and is a former elementary school teacher. She loves reading, home projects, and good conversations over coffee.
Paul Stuart - Music Ministry Assistant
Paul Stuart serves as the Music Ministry Assistant for CBC. He and his wife, Haley, have four children, Tobin, Auden, Willa, and Noble. Paul graduated from the University of North Texas with a B.B.A. in Accounting with minor in Music. He loves reading, writing songs, and leading God’s people in congregational singing.
Becca Whitmore - Administrative Ministry Assistant
Becca serves as the Administrative Ministry Assistant here at CBC. She and her husband, Asa, met in school at UNT and have both been members at CBC since 2015. Becca and Asa have two children, Samuel and Lucy. Becca’s interests include finding good music, drinking great coffee, and trying to keep her houseplants alive.
